Upcoming Performances of the Milwaukee Children's Choir
This past Saturday, October 29th, Milwaukee Children's Choir kicked off its 23rd season with an incredible concert in the beautiful St. Joseph's Chapel at the School Sisters of St. Francis, Milwaukee. The first of a two-part concert series, the Voices of Eterna and the Milwaukee Youth Chorale presented Musica Sacra. Featuring the music of Johann Michael Haydn and English contemporary composer, John Rutter, the musical groups presented two rare works for their Milwaukee premier.
Those who enjoyed the concert and those who might have been unable to attend this date, should be sure to mark their calendars as we return to St. Joseph's Chapel on Saturday, March 25th at 7 pm to present Part II of the Musica Sacra series featuring the works of Pergolesi and English composer John Rutter. Milwaukee Youth Chorale presents an evening of solemnity and meditation in the performance of Pergolesi's most profound and notable composition, Stabat Mater. The evening will also include a performance of Rutter's Requiem. Stay tuned as ticketing info for premium seating will be available shortly.
