Marcus Center today announced that select seats in the first four rows of the orchestra section will be available for $25 on a lottery basis for every performance of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical. The $25 tickets are available for in-person purchases at the Marcus Center Box Office, located at 929 North Water Street, Downtown Milwaukee, on the day of each performance only. To enter, arrive at the Marcus Center Box Office two and half hours prior to the show, fill out your entry form, and tickets are drawn two hours prior to the performance. The $25 tickets are available for cash only purchases and are limited to two tickets per person.

The tradition of the $25 tickets began in 1996 in New York when the show moved to Broadway after a sold-out run in a small downtown theatre. The producers of the show are committed to continuing the tradition of offering orchestra seats for $25 in each city the show will play.

RENT performs at the Marcus Center on October 3-8. Performance times are Tuesday-Thursday at 7:30 pm, Friday at 8:00 pm, Saturday at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm and Sunday at 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm.

For general ticket information, call the Marcus Center at 414-273-7206 (Monday-Friday from 9:30 am-9:00 pm; Saturday from 12:00 pm-9:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm).
