Looking for something fun to do this weekend? The Greendale Community Theatre is excited to announce their production of Legally Blonde the Musical, a fan favorite. "Last summer's production of Les Miserables was such a huge success, it set a GCT attendance record," said Music Director Tom Reifenberg. "It's tough to follow a show like that, so we went an entirely different direction with Legally Blonde. We wanted to lighten the mood and show our versatility as a company as we head into our second decade of existence." While Legally Blonde might be a switch from past productions, one thing remains the same, the quality.

"Three words come to mind when explaining this show: energy, intelligence, and crispness." Staszak said. "It thrives off the fact that it is so well written lyrically and musically. The audience can't help but dance in their seats, and at the same time, actually care about the story and characters." Viewers might know the movies, the musical helps to show new sides of your favorite characters. "But it's not all silver stilettos, perfectly coordinated skirt suits, Fendi bags and false eyelashes, as the story is rich in clever wit and a message of self-discovery."

To purchase tickets, visit www.greendaletheater.org or call the box office at (414)-817-7600. Shows are at the Greendale High School's Reiman Family Arts Wing, 6801 Southway, Greendale and take place on July 24, 25, 26, 27, 31 & August 1, 2. This show is not one to miss.
