The Exhibition of Artists in Michigan Prisons returns for its 29th year at the University of Michigan, showcasing 772 artworks from 538 incarcerated artists across 26 state prisons. This initiative, organized by the Prison Creative Arts Project, aims to illuminate personal narratives and the significance of artistic expression, fostering public understanding of incarceration. New programming includes an audio tour featuring artist stories and a collaborative concert where students will perform music inspired by the featured artworks. The exhibition runs from March 18 to April 1 at the Duderstadt Gallery.
