The Williamston Theatre family was saddened to learn of the financial stresses that the BoarsHead Theatre is currently experiencing, necessitating their stage being dark for the holiday season. In the spirit of the season the Williamston and BoarsHead theatres are joining together to offer BoarsHead's loyal subscribers a special offer to see the Michigan premiere of This Wonderful Life.

To ensure that BoarsHead subscribers are not denied the experience of a holiday production this year the Williamston Theatre, with the blessing and encouragement of the BoarsHead Theatre, is extending its $2 subscriber discount to BoarsHead subscribers for Williamston's upcoming holiday production, This Wonderful Life by Steve Murray. The BoarsHead Theatre will be sending letters to their subscribers detailing the discount offer.

This Wonderful Life begins with a special three o'clock matinee on Friday, November 27. Performances for the rest of the run are Thursday and Friday evenings at eight o'clock, Saturday matinees at three o'clock and evenings at eight o'clock, and Sunday matinees at two o'clock. The show is scheduled to close Sunday, December 20.

This one-man stage adaptation of the beloved American film classic, It's A Wonderful Life, features award-winning actor and WT Executive Director John Lepard portraying over 30 of the movie's memorable characters. There's the family man George Bailey; evil and miserly Mr. Potter; Clarence, the dotty angel in waiting; devoted Mary, and Zuzu with her petals. But we can't forget the image of a man standing alone on a bridge on Christmas Eve...the story of how he got there, and how he found his way back home. This Wonderful Life reminds us of the power of perspective, friendship and family.

Tickets prices are Pay-What-You-Can for the 3PM performance on Friday, November 27, $24.00 for Friday and Saturday evenings, $20.00 for Saturday and Sunday matinees and $18.00 for Thursday evening. Discounted rates are available for groups of 10 or more for most performances. BoarsHead subscribers are encouraged to reserve their tickets in advance by calling the Williamston Theatre at (517) 655-SHOW (7469), Monday - Friday from 12 - 6pm. Williamston Theatre patrons will find ample parking on the street and in several municipal lots throughout the city.

The Williamston Theatre eagerly looks forward to the BoarsHead Theatre re-opening after the New Year, and to their continuing service as one of the Lansing area's cultural anchor organizations.
