Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, invites you to celebrate the holidays this year with the return of This Wonderful Life by Steve Murray. Tickets for this 90-minute heartwarming holiday production, running from November 25 - December 23, are now on sale.

This Wonderful Life begins with a special "Pay-What-You-Can" three o'clock matinee on Friday, November 25. Performances for the rest of the run are Thursday and Friday evenings at 8PM, Saturday matinees at 3PM and evenings at 8PM, and Sunday matinees at 2PM with two additional 8PM performances Tuesday, December 20 and Wednesday, December 21. The show is scheduled to close Friday, December 23.

Back by popular demand, Williamston Theatre's own John Lepard returns to the stage in his award-winning role as George Bailey, Mr. Potter, and the entire population of Bedford Falls in this theatrical re-telling of the classic holiday film It's A Wonderful Life. Superbly adapted from the most irresistible and entertaining "what if" story of all time, this one-man tour de force reminds us of the power of perspective, friendship and faith. The Williamston Theatre welcomes back the production team from the 2009 production of This Wonderful Life: Set Designer Bart Bauer (Panache, Talley's Folly, Rounding Third), Lighting Designer Reid Johnson (Every Christmas Story Ever Told!!), Sound Designer Quintessa Gallinat (Leaving Iowa, Music from a Sparkling Planet) and Director Tony Caselli (The Dead Guy, Oedipus, Greater Tuna). The Stage Manager is Stefanie Din.

Tickets prices are Pay-What-You-Can for the 3PM performance on Friday, November 25, $25.00 for Friday and Saturday evenings, $22.00 for the Saturday and Sunday matinees and $20.00 for Thursday evenings and the additional Tuesday and Wednesday performances. Discounted rates are available for groups of 10 or more for most performances. Tickets can be ordered by calling (517) 655-SHOW (7469), Tuesday - Friday from 12 - 6pm.

The Williamston Theatre is a not-for-profit, professional live theatre company, dedicated to producing plays that excite, engage and entertain our audiences. The theatre opened its doors in 2006 and has received a number of local awards including the 2008 Robert Busby Award for extraordinary overall contribution to theatre in the Greater Lansing Area.
