The New Theatre Project Announces Ensemble Auditions for Season 2
Auditions to join The New Theatre Project's Ensemble for Season 2: Revelation have been scheduled for Saturday, May 14 from 9 am - 5 pm. New Ensemble members will be considered for many positions in the coming season and will receive top priority in TNTP's special events including staged readings of original work, casting in Project plays, design and directing positions, and
participation in the Day Play, TNTP's version of a twenty-four hour play festival.
Artists wishing to participate in the auditions need not be limited to actors. Dancers, singers, musicians, designers, filmmakers, etc. will also be considered
for the Ensemble. We are mostly looking for college students and recent graduates interested in expanding their opportunities in the local theatre community.
strongest suit are encouraged. Artists who are not actors may be asked to read a brief passage from a script.
Please bring a photo of yourself and a resume to the audition. After your presentation, expect a brief interview with the Artistic Director and current New Ensemble members.
Artists must reserve a time slot in order to be considered. Email keith@thenewtheatreproject.orgin order to sign up. Please indicate the best time of day for your audition and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Some roles in the season are paid.
Auditions will be held at TNTP's space located at 220 Felch St. Unit 5 in Ann Arbor. Unit 5 is around the back of the building and up the black, metal staircase.For more details, visit www.thenewtheatreproject.org.
