Mysterious twists and thrilling turns abound when a group of strangers stranded in a guest house during a snowstorm discover that a murderer is in their midst. A true whodunnit, The Mousetrap continues a 62-year-old tradition as the longest running play in modern theatre, with the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre production. Agatha Christie's murder mystery masterpiece will run today, January 16 - February 1, 2015.

Agatha Christies' greatest mystery is set to unfold for West Michigan audiences. Is the killer one of the suspicious newlyweds or the spinster with the curious background? Perhaps it is the architect, the retired Army major or the strange man running from his past. One thing is certain; this will be an evening of mystery, intrigue and suspense. The identity of the killer in the play is a closely guarded secret and, famously, audiences for The Mousetrap must take a pledge not to reveal the secret.

"Knowing the secret -- and keeping it, is a part of the mystery and fun of this time-honored production", Director Penelope Notter notes. "This classic play has and continues to delight audiences since it first opened in London in 1952. It is has all of the right elements: murder, revenge, and keeping secrets. It is the perfect way to spend a snowy January night".
