Southgate Community Players Presents JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR

Southgate Community Players are opening the Main Stage portion of their 2018-2019 season with popular rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. For over 40 years this worldwide sensation has captivated audiences with the timeless story of Jesus Christ during his last week on Earth. Audiences can expect to enjoy many different aspects of this musical theater classic. From director Chris Rollet's loyalty to the show's original juxtaposition of rock music alongside period costuming and setting, to popular numbers such as "Superstar," "Gethsemane," and "I Don't Know How to Love Him," there is a lot of entertainment packed into this powerhouse production.
