Sharron Matthews, the "Canadian Goddess of Cabaret," has taken her hit comedic, tour-de-force concerts across Canada and around the world, to New York City, London, Scotland, South Africa and home again. She has earned rave reviews and delighted audiences wherever she has performed.

She is bringing her show, "Sharron Matthews Superstar: Gold" to Oakland University, with a performance in Varner Recital Hall at 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 20.

For "Gold," Sharron has picked songs, stories, medleys and songologues from her previous tours to create a thrilling show with "jaw-dropping vocals, pop-culture punches and hit-melody mash-ups." This is a one-of-a-kind concert experience that might include songs by such artists as Lady Gaga, Kiss, Styx, the Bee Gees, Guns 'N' Roses, Radiohead, Beyonce and Queen.

Beyond cabaret, Sharron has toured in "Les Miserables" and had starring roles in the movie "Mean Girls," and Global TV's hit show "Canada Sings!" Watch her work on Vimeo, on her professional reel here. Visit her website atsharronmatthews.com/shows/sharron-matthews-superstar.
