By:

Pontiac Theatre IV presents its 2014 musical revue, Broadway Through the 80's, Friday and Saturday, February 14th and 15th, 2014 at Bartelli's in Waterford.

"One Day More," "Lullaby of Broadway," "Music of the Night," "I Am Changing," "Any Dream Will Do" and "Macavity" are only a few of the songs from shows and revivals that opened on Broadway in the 1980's-Les Miserables, 42nd Street, Phantom of the Opera, Dreamgirls, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Cats-featured in this fun revue.

Tickets for the show are $5 for Pontiac Theatre IV members, $10 for non-members. Saturday offers a dinner theatre option as well-tickets are $15 for Pontiac Theatre IV members and $20 for non-members if you would like to eat before the performance. Reservations must be made by February 12th, 2014 and are required for Saturday's dinner.

A talented cast of twelve will bring these diverse works to life: Alissa Bandalene, Karen Brody, Mike Brody, Tony Castellani, Steve Cunningham, Don DeLaire, Shayna Lax, Cheri Nadolni, Jenna Kellie Pittman, Shaun Pittman, McKinley Shaw and Camy Sylvestre. They will be accompanied by vocal and music director M. Scottie Moilanen and emcee AmandaJane Schade Rhodes, while John Tonner directs and produces.

Pontiac Theatre IV began as a summer venture in 1969 with what was then the Pontiac Parks and Recreation Department (now Community and Human Services) of the City of Pontiac. In 1973, the group decided to become an independent community theater company separate from the Pontiac Parks and Recreation Department. Because the department had provided sponsorship for four years, the group elected to take the name Pontiac Theatre IV. Over the years we have enjoyed the support of local business and industry, the Pontiac schools, and the City of Pontiac, which still provides space for storage and rehearsals. As a community theatre, we welcome the participation of all interested people.

Tickets: Performance only: $5 for Pontiac Theatre IV members, $10 for non-members. Dinner theatre option on Saturday: $15 for Pontiac Theatre IV members and $20 for non-members. Performance only option still available on Saturday for $5 (members)/$10 (non-members)
Parking: Free parking is available. https://www.facebook.com/events/201044123423626/?source=1
