Planet Ant Opens Original Comedy ANNAMALS
Tonight, Planet Ant will open its latest original comedy, Annamals, at 8:00 pm at Planet Ant Theatre, 2357 Caniff in Hamtramck. The show, written by the cast and director will continue with performances through Saturday, April 15. A complete schedule follows this release.
In Planet Ant's latest original comedy, strange creatures have begun to appear around town. From the snow covered mountain tops of California to the dangerous streets of New York City, Annamals follows six seemingly unconnected characters as they discover the dark secret behind 'Annamals.' This original comedy is written and performed by the cast and director Dave Davies. Annamals features Tony Agusty, Jaclynn Cherry, Annelyse Miller, Maggie O'Reilly, Jim Rimmel, and Dan Tice. Performances are at 8:00 pm Friday and Saturday evenings. Tickets ($10) are on sale now at www.planetant.com and in person at the Planet Ant Theatre box office 30 minutes prior to show time based on availability.

Improv Mondays
The Planet Ant Improv Colony has generated over twenty original comedies and continues to perform every Monday night in Michigan's longest-running improv comedy show - Improv Mondays. At 8:00 pm the show kicks off with a guest improv troupe followed by a performance by Planet Ant's resident Home Team. The night closes with The Ant Jam, an opportunity for anyone to improvise on the Ant Hall stage. Tickets are $5 at the door.
