Performance Network Theatre invites supporters to its First Annual Spotlight Supper Club where they will have the opportunity to celebrate Performance Network's fantastic upcoming 2013-2014 epically intimate season with artists like Naz Edwards, Aral Gribble, Carla Milarch, David Wells and the Performance Network Staff while sharing a menu designed specifically for the 2013-14 season by world-renowned Chef Alex at Zingerman's Roadhouse on September 16th, 2013 at 7pm. Supporters are encouraged to make their reservation immediately, as seating is limited, by calling Performance Network at 734.663.0681 or by going to the Performance Network website: www.performancenetwork.org.

Chef Alex Young founded Zingerman's Roadhouse as chef and managing partner in September 2003, operating as one of the seven businesses in the Zingerman's Community of Businesses. Serving really good American food, Alex is a 5-time James Beard nominated Best Chef in the Great Lakes Region, winning the title in 2011. The same year Roadhouse Macaroni and Cheese was named the Best Comfort Food in America by Alton Brown's Food Network show Best of. In 2009, the Roadhouse was given the honor of being named one of the "Top 10 New Barbecue Restaurants" by Bon Appetit.

With a season full of everything from PNT's first stab at Shakespeare, with a production of Richard III, to two brand new, never-before-seen World Premieres by David Wells and Joseph Zettelmaier and customized food from Zingerman's guests are bound to have an elegant evening celebrating award-winning food and theatre in Ann Arbor. "This is a great time to show support for community strongholds like Zingerman's and Performance Network," says Performance Network Associate Development Director, Logan Ricket. "When two high-quality, local organizations join hands in an effort to celebrate great achievements and innovations it inevitably brings a sense of community and unity to anyone who participates."

Zingerman's has graciously offered to host the event and a portion of the proceeds to help raise the greatly needed funds to keep Ann Arbor's Professional Theatre alive and winning more nominations and awards that any other theatre in Michigan. Supporters can participate in this exciting endeavor by buying a spot in the exclusive Supper Club today. Single seats are $100 per person, or for larger parties PNT offers a special deal for a table of 8 costing only $700! Seating is limited. Reservations can be made by calling the theatre and becoming a Supper Club Member.

Founded in 1981, Performance Network Theatre has grown from a fledgling company to Ann Arbor's resident professional theatre. The Network reaches 40,000 theatre patrons and children each year through the year-round Professional Series and the Children's Theatre Network. Performance Network also presents the Fireside New Play Festival and a series of classes on theatre-related topics. The Network provides uncompromising artistic leadership in the region and produces works that engage, challenge and inspire audiences and artists.
