New McCree Theatre Closes GOSPELETTES, 12/18

The New McCree Theatre, 5005 Cloverlawn, Flint, has announced tickets can now be purchased for the upcoming gospel musical Ladies and Gentlemen...Presenting the Gospelettes.   

Lannie Spann-McBride, the gospel music virtuoso from Jackson, Mississippi, is bringing her considerable talent and musical gifts to share with participants in the McCree Theatre program.  She has written and will arrange her original musical compositions for this new musical, Ladies and Gentlemen...Presenting the Gospelettes, written by McCree Executive Director, Charles H. Winfrey.  Ms. McBride's visit to Flint will include teaching her original score to the cast of the Gospelettes.

Ladies and Gentlemen...Presenting the Gospelettes follows the bumpy road a female gospel group takes to stardom.  It will preview at the theatre November 26 & 27, 2010, with regular performances running December 2 - 18, 2010 on Thursday and Friday at 8:00 p.m. and Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  It is directed by Cathy E. Previews: advance rate - $8.00 adults, $5.00 students/seniors; at the door rate -  $10.00 adults, $6.00 students/seniors;  There will be no matinee performances for our Preview Performances.  All Preview performances will be held at 8:00 p.m.

Regular Performances:  advance rate - $12.00 adults, $7.00 students/seniors; at the door rates - $15.00 adults, $10.00 students/seniors.  Every Thursday is two for one night.
