MotorCity Casino Hotel to Welcome Frank Marino's DIVAS, 10/16
Detroit -- MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to announce Frank Marino's "Divas" at Sound Board on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 8:00 p.m.
"Divas" is the brainchild of Las Vegas legend, Frank Marino. The energetic show features Marino as comic icon Joan Rivers and a cast of superstar female impersonators who not only recreate, but almost uncannily duplicate the likenesses of stars ranging from Britney Spears to Diana Ross. Meanwhile, Marino in his role as the show's emcee and star changes between every act bringing an international whirlwind of couture to the stage with each spectacular entrance.
Prior to "Divas", Marino spent 25 years as the star of "An Evening at La Cage", and is an accomplished author, newscaster, columnist, and spokesperson. In 2005, Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman proclaimed February 1, to be "Frank Marino Day." Marino also received a Key to the City, has a street, Frank Marino Drive, and is on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame. In 2009, Marino was named Las Vegas "Entertainer of the Century" and after performing for more than 10 million people, he is in the Guinness Book for having the most performances on any Las Vegas stage.
