MotorCity Casino Hotel Welcomes Grand Funk Railroad, 3/29
MotorCity Casino Hotel will welcome The American Band, Grand Funk Railroad, at Sound Board on Thursday, March 29 at 8:00 p.m.
Grand Funk Railroad is a boogie, blues, and hard rock group that has toured the world, selling out in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Japan, and South America. In 1970, they sold more albums than any other American band and broke The Beatles’ Shea Stadium attendance record by selling out in just 72 hours. The current band members are Don Brewer, Mel Schacher, Max Carl, Bruce Kulick, and Tim Cashion. The band was inducted into the Michigan Rock and Roll Legends Hall of Fame in 2005.
