MotorCity Casino Hotel Announces Dionne Warwick at SOUND BOARD 1/15/2010

MotorCity Casino Hotel is proud to announce Dionne Warwick, live at Sound Board on Friday, January 15th at 8:00 pm.

Dionne Warwick received her first Grammy Award in 1968 and became the first African-American solo female artist of her generation, to win the prestigious award for Best Contemporary Female Vocal Performance. According to Billboard Magazine, Dionne is second as the female vocalist with the most Billboard Hot 100 chart hits during the rock era (1955-1999), charting a total of 56 hits. She has also scored a dozen consecutive Top100 crossover hits on the Rhythm & Blues and Adult Contemporary charts.

David Elliott, singer-songwriter and son of Dionne will open the concert. David has toured with, and has performed duets with his mother. Elliott had his acting debut in the film "Ali", as the singer Sam Cooke.
