Cabaret 313 is delighted to present cabaret's star couple, John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey, in An Evening with John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey on Saturday, May 19 at 8 p.m. at The Cube at the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Music Center (3711 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48201). Hailed by Time magazine as one of the year's "Ten Best Shows," Pizzarelli and Molaskey bring their signature combination of Broadway, pop and jazz hits to Detroit for a one-of-a-kind combination of all things cabaret.

"[Pizzarelli and Molaskey] are incredibly sophisticated and totally unique. No one else presents a show like they do," said Allan Nachman, President and Executive Director of Cabaret 313. "They have been on Cabaret 313's radar for quite some time now, and I am proud and excited to feature them for our Fifth Anniversary season finale."

World-renowned guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli has been hailed for "reinvigorating the Great American Songbook and re-popularizing jazz" (Boston Globe) and performs annual Fall engagements at New York's Café Carlyle with Jessica Molaskey. Molaskey is a veteran of over a dozen Broadway shows including the recent Tony Award-nominated revival of Sunday in the Park with George as well as Les Misérables, Cats and Oklahoma!.

"When we curate our season and attempt to bring in artists, we try to blend world-class talent from many different realms," said Nachman. "The Pizzarelli-Molaskey duo present an incredible blend of many disciplines in cabaret and will definitely contribute highly to ending this milestone season on the highest of notes."

The 2017-18 season marked the Fifth Anniversary for Cabaret 313, Detroit's premier cabaret presenter. Over the last five seasons, Cabaret 313 has presented a wide range of international world-class talent, including Tony Award-nominated actresses Megan Hilty and Carmen Cusack, Tony Award-winning actor Alan Cumming and cabaret star Ute Lemper.
