Jay Leno to Headline Forgotten Harvest's Annual Comedy Night at the Fox Theatre, 5/7

Forgotten Harvest, one of the nation's largest food rescue organizations, announced today that legendary late night host Jay Leno will headline its 24th Annual Comedy Night at the Fox Theatre on Saturday, May 7 at 8 p.m.

Tickets ($25, $49, $85 and $150) go on sale Friday, February 12 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com, the Fox Theatre Box Office, Joe Louis Arena Box Office, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge), at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will benefit Forgotten Harvest's network of over 280 agencies in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties that provide fresh food options to metro Detroiters in need, relieving hunger in metro Detroit and preventing nutritious food waste.

Leno is an acclaimed host of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, which after more than two decades of consecutive quarterly wins in late night ratings, ended in 2014. He also adds to his resume the titles of best-selling children's book author, pioneering car builder and mechanic, stand-up comedian, movie voice-over talent and philanthropist.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno took home an Emmy for "Outstanding Comedy, Variety or Music Series," a TV Guide award for "Favorite Late Night Show," while Leno himself won other numerous honors throughout the years. He was inducted into the Television Academy's Broadcast Hall of Fame in 2014.
