It's a Winter Wonderland at the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury

Relive the thrills of your childhood on the Sundance Slopes at Double JJ Resort, starting this weekend. Fly down the sparkling 600 foot tubing hill and journey back up on a towrope to repeat the process. Sundance Slopes will open Saturday, December 17th at 10am. General weekend hours are Friday: 5pm to 10pm, Saturday: 10am to 10pm, Sunday: 10am to 5pm. The tubing hill will be open throughout the week during Christmas break. Must be 38" or taller to ride. Hot chocolate and coffee are available at the warming hut in the Wyatt room.

Don't forget the special 'Santa Meet And Greet' event at the Sundance Steakhouse on Sunday, December 18th, from 11am to 3pm. Jolly Ol' Saint Nicholas himself will be on the balcony of the restaurant, charming children with his merriment. A staff photographer will be available to capture your special moment. The event is free and open to the public and the picture with Santa is complimentary as well. The first 100 children will also receive a free 'goodie bag'. Special holiday cocktails will be available during the event.

While you're at the Sundance enjoy a delicious brunch buffet including breakfast and lunch items with many things the children will especially enjoy. The Sunday buffet is becoming very popular, especially during this busy holiday season.

Throughout the holidays the Sundance Steakhouse is offering weeknight 'All You Can Eat' specials that are delicious, and easy on your holiday budget. It's Taco Tuesday, Wings Wednesday including a trivia game which starts at 6pm. Or come for the 'All You Can Eat' fish fry on Thursday. If ribs are your thing, enjoy 'All You Can Eat' ribs, smothered in Jack Daniels savory barbeque sauce on Friday. Don't forget the Family Fun New Year's Eve Package; this special package includes a room in the Loft Hotel or in a Family Cabin, a Pizza and Salad Buffet, and Breakfast Buffet the following morning. Included are tubing hill passes with unlimited hot chocolate. Sleigh rides available for an additional fee.

The JJ Frontier will be the site of all the evening's activities, starting with the Pizza and Salad Buffet From 6pm to 9pm, appetizers being offered from 10 pm until midnight. Full bar service will be available at Rustler's Roost throughout the evening as well. Entertainment will include the popular group 'Plain Jane Glory'. There will be rides on the mechanical bull (age 8 and up), the Bounce House, Karaoke, the children's Craft Corner, the Wooden Nickel Arcade, and a family friendly movie. There will also be party favors for all and goodie bags for the children and a balloon drop.
