Go Comedy! Improv Gives Back With All Star Showdown 5/29, Donates Part Of Sales

Go Comedy! Improv Theater will donate a portion of ticket sales from the Friday, May 29 8:00pm performance of The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown to support Ferndale resident Allison Neal in the 2009 Crohns & Collitis Foundation of America Kona Marathon. In addition to ticket sales, there will also be a 50/50 raffle with door prizes including an autographed Detroit Pistons basketball and gift certificates to local businesses.

Allison Neal will be racing in the Kona Marathon for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) as a member of a group called Team Challenge. The event will raise funds to battle Crohn's, Colitis, and other digestive diseases on behalf of CCFA, a volunteer driven organization dedicated to finding the cure to Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. As one of the over 1.4 million people suffering from Crohn's or Colitis, Allison understands how important it is to raise money towards finding a cure to these often painful and debilitating diseases.

This marks Go Comedy!'s second charitable event after hosting a successful fundraiser May 1st for Operation Kid Equip. "Giving back to the community we serve is something all of us at Go Comedy! are committed to." stated Go Comedy! co-owner and technical director, Tommy LeRoy.

Tickets to the 8:00pm Go Comedy! All Star Showdown are $15 and available in person beginning at 7:00pm at the Go Comedy! box office.
