Go Comedy! Announces Changes to the $1000 BITS Finale

Extremely high demand for tickets has forced Go Comedy! to add a second show to The Bailout Improv Tournament Spectacular (BITS) Finale. After selling out the initially scheduled 8pm performance in less than an hour, Go Comedy! producers have decided to add a second performance. Show times for the BITS Finale are 7pm and 9pm Wednesday, June 9. Tickets are $10 and will be available beginning at NOON on Monday, June 7 through the Go Comedy! Box Office at (248) 327-0575.

The tournament comes to its exciting conclusion after Bookmark This beat Magma/Ricochet before a sold out house June 2. From an original field of 16, Baby LeRoy and Bookmark This remain to compete for Michigan's largest prize ever awarded for the art of improvisation, $1,000. The winning team will also win the Wednesday 8pm time slot for the remainder of June and the month of July at Go Comedy!.

Audiences at both the 7pm and 9pm shows will vote for their favorite team. All votes will be tallied after the 9pm performance and announced at the theatre and live online via www.gocomedy.net.

The Woodward Avenue Brewery (the WAB), located at 22646 Woodward Avenue, just steps away from Go Comedy!,has partnered with the theatre to host a post-show reception for guests attending the 7pm show. Light Hors Doeuvres and a cash bar will be available at the WAB for the 7pm BITS audience. The exciting conclusion and winning announcement will be broadcast via the web at the WAB. Guests attending the 9pm show at Go Comedy! will also enjoy light Hors Doeuvres at the theatre prior to the show.

Guests who made reservations for the originally scheduled 8pm BITS Finale will be contacted by the Go Comedy! box office prior to Noon on Monday, June 7.
