Ferndale is about to get Foxy as Code Foxy: Man Down returns to the beat at the Ringwald Theatre courtesy of Sweet Love Productions. The show will run late night on Friday and Saturdays at 10:30pm and Sundays at 5:30pm May 28 - June 13. Tickets ($10) are available online at www.whowantscaketheatre.com, by phone 248-545-5545 and in person at the Ringwald Theatre, 22742 Woodward Ave, Ferndale MI 48220. The box office opens 30 minutes before performances.

Code Foxy: Man Down originally premiered at The Planet Ant Theatre in May of 2008 and is the creation of the winner of that year's Planet Ant Winter Improv Colony Fest, Tiger Ride. Written by and featuring Lauren Bickers (Ferndale), Anne Faba (Clinton Township), Suzan M. Jacokes (Ferndale), Cara Trautman (Ferndale), and Kathryn Trepkowski (Plymouth), the show is a hilarious romp set in the 1970's in the style of Charlie's Angels.

Follow the Foxy Tigers, an elite all female detective agency, as they go undercover to fight crime and save their fledgling agency...all the while looking very very sexy. Originally directed by Nancy Hayden & Jaime Moyer, the Ringwald Theatre production will be directed by Mark Sobolewski (Ferndale).

Although home to Ferndale based theatre company Who Wants Cake?, The Ringwald Theatre is also known for being the playground for other local artists and companies to share their talents. Past guest productions include Reefer Madness, The Rocky Horror Show, and this past winter's Sweet Love Productions hit, The Real Housewives of the North Pole. The Ringwald has also been host to Barebones Theatre Productions annual youth theatre showcase and the Ferndale Jazz Festival.
