Bay City Players Presents UNRAVELING MAGICIANS
Bay City Players will present the debut staged readings of an original musical by Bay City native Ryan Sequin, September 23rd and 24th at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Performance times are 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.?
There is no cost for attending this event. Players wants audiences to share in the creation of a new theatrical work. There's special enjoyment in being in on the creative process and finding your own ideas on what the final show will look like.
Adapted from a medieval Welsh folktale, Unraveling Magicians tells the story of a magical and royal family thrown into turmoil when a curse is cast upon one of their own. In their attempt to lift the curse, the family must resurface old wounds and finally acknowledge how deeply dysfunctional they have become. Despite the distraction of power, the revelation of secrets, and a little wayward magic, is it possible for the family to remain intact?
