Bay City Players Presents MESSIAH ON THE FRIGIDAIRE 1/15-17, 21-24, 2010

Bay City Players will present the production; Messiah on the Frigidaire, by John Culbertson, January 15-17 and 21-24, 2010 at the Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Performance times are 8:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 3:00 p.m. on Sunday. Messiah on the Frigidaire is directed by Joanne Berry.

The box office for Messiah on the Frigidaire will open on Thursday, January 7, 2010. Box office hours are Thursday and Friday, January 7 & 8 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, January 11 - January 15 & January 18 - 22 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16 & 23 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17 & 24 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. The box office phone number is (989) 893-5555. Ticket prices are Senior/Students: $13.00 and Adults: $15.00. Students may purchase tickets for the Thursday, January 21st performance for $5.00; student ID must be presented to the box office at time of purchase. THE PLOT: What is it about southern country folk that becomes so humorous? Sure not everyone keeps the refrigerator on the front porch, but not everyone has a front porch. How can someone see the face of the Madonna in a grilled cheese sandwich and sell it on E-Bay? I don't know how it happens, but it does. And when the Messiah on the Frigidaire meets modern-day marketing, anything goes. This will be a great way to smile your way through the cold nights of winter.
