Bay City Players Announces Auditions for ALL MY SONS

Bay City Players will hold auditions for its upcoming production, All My Sons by Arthur Miller, on Monday and Tuesday, January 16 & 17, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Auditions will be held at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City. Directed by Joanne Berry.

Performance dates are March 2-4 and 8-11, 2012. Director, Joanne Berry is looking for:

6 men (ages early 30’s to 60)

1 boy (about 8)

4 women (late 20’s to 50’s)

THE PLOT: Arthur Miller’s great American drama set after WWII still touches the very soul of Americans at war. When is it OK for people to profit from their country at war? How long do you wait for those who are missing in action? How does an American family faced with these questions find the right answers? So, good it has been made into two movies and had a big Broadway revival, 2008. All My Sons shows full force why Miller is one of America’s finest playwrights. You’ll be fascinated. Tony Award Winner for Best Play, 1947.

Those auditioning will be asked to read selections from the script. Limited scripts are available for check-out from the theatre office Monday – Friday from 9am to 1pm for a $10 refundable deposit.
