Healing through Remembrance: Memorializing Covid, Five Years and Beyond takes place on March 5, 2025, at the City Lore Gallery. This event marks the fifth anniversary of the first COVID-19 cases in New York City, featuring a panel discussion and community conversation that reflects on the initiative "Naming the Lost Memorials." Artists and educators such as Megan Paradis Hanley, Jenny Romaine, and Sandra Bell will share experiences from the memorial project, while Robert W. Snyder discusses his book, When the City Stopped. Attendees are encouraged to participate in an open conversation about healing and the importance of communal memorials.
