The Waterfront Playhouse proudly presents "Terri White In Concert" at the historic San Carlos Institute on Saturday, April 16 at 8:00 pm. Ms. White, a veteran of numerous Broadway shows, will be joined onstage by her long-time musical director, Bobby Peaco.
The concert is generously sponsored by Sam Trophia and George Fernandez. A post-performance party after the San Carlos event will be held at the Gardens Hotel for holders of the $50 reserved seating tickets (there are $35 general admission tickets also available, but that does not include the party.) The party is generously sponsored by Billy Cartledge and Jim Hall. Tickets are available by calling the WFPH box office at 305-294-5015 or at www.waterfrontplayhouse.org.
Terri's Broadway appearances have been star-turns in "Chicago," "Finian's Rainbow," "Barnum," "Ain't Misbehavin'," "Bubbling Brown Sugar," "Stepping Out At Radio City" (with Liza Minelli) and many others. She's also appeared in such Off-Broadway shows as "Nunsense" and the legendary production of "The Club" directed by Tommy Tune, as well as many regional and stock appearances.
Readers, she is fabulous. Do not miss this extraordinary performer!
Ms. White will be on a 36 hour break from her rehearsals for the Kennedy Center's production of Stephen Sondheim's "Follies" to perform at the San Carlos. Her 2010 sold-out concert at the Waterfront still has people raving about her incredible voice, delivery, power and emotional range. Her April 16th concert promises to be another night to remember, and one you won't want to miss.
For tickets call 305-294-5015 or purchase tickets at www.WaterfrontPlayhouse.org on their online ticketing service. Season sponsors of the Waterfront include Comcast, Digital Island Media, El Meson de Pepe's and WKWM/WLRN. This production is sponsored in part by the Monroe Tourist Development Council, the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
