The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park Presents A CLASSIC CHRISTMAS

The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park presents its annual Christmas program, A Classic Christmas, featuring the Bach Festival Choir, Youth Choir, and Orchestra conducted by John V. Sinclair. In addition to traditional holiday favorites, this year’s program also includes selections from Tchaikovsky’s famous Nutcracker Suite.

The Bach Festival Society invites you to begin your holiday season with A Classic Christmas. Combining the striking 160-voice Bach Choir, the magnificent Bach Festival Orchestra, historic Knowles Memorial Chapel, and the artistry of conductor John Sinclair, the Bach Festival holiday concert is a long-standing tradition for a generation of Central Florida families.

The Bach Festival Society celebrates 77 years of outstanding musical offerings and Annual Festivals during its 2011–2012 Season. Located in Winter Park, Florida, it is one of the longest continuously operating Bach Festivals in the country and among America’s great oratorio societies. The Bach Festival Society brings the highest caliber of classical music to Central Florida. Performances are held in the intimate settings of Tiedtke Concert Hall and Knowles Memorial Chapel on the beautiful campus of Rollins College.
