Salvador Dali's 'Down The Rabit Hole' Art Exhibition At Miramar Cultural Center
SALVADOR DALI 'S DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE ART EXHIBITION RUNS
APRIL 5 THROUGH SEPTEMBER AT THE ANSIN FAMILY ART GALLERY
AT THE MIRAMAR CULTURAL CENTER
Down the Rabbit Hole, Salvador Dalí's rare suite of lithographs, is the newest art exhibition to open at the Ansin Family Art Gallery inside the Miramar Cultural Center beginning April 5, 2010.
Dali's Down the Rabbit Hole is the Surrealist master's response to Lewis Carroll's literary classic Alice in Wonderland. It offers an excellent introduction to the artist, the surrealist movement and one of the most beloved and imaginative stories in Western culture.
The exhibition is organized by the Museum of Art/Fort Lauderdale, Nova Southeastern University.
The Ansin Family Art Gallery is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Tuesday & Thursday 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. Donations are suggested.
The Miramar Cultural Center/ArtsPark is located at 2400 Civic Center Place on Red Road North of Miramar Parkway. The Box Office is open Tuesday-Friday 10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. and two hours prior to Showtime. Call 954-462-0222. Or visit www.MiramarCulturalCenter.org for more information.
The Miramar Cultural Center ArtsPark, in partnership with the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, is a collaborative effort of many who share a fundamental commitment to the arts as essential to building a strong and vibrant community. The project is funded in part by Broward County through the Broward County Board of Commissioners with proceeds from 2000 Safe Parks & Land Preservation Bond. The Center also acknowledges the support of the State of Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts.
