Mr. Charles, CURRENTLY OF PALM BEACH, was written by Paul Rudnick. Mr. Charles is a late night local television host who is too gay for daytime TV. Along with his hunky assistant (who appears in and out of several outfits), he shares his views on everything gay and answers questions from the studio audience. This short comedy is coupled with David Leddick's original play, MEXICO CITY, and both will star Mr. Leddick himself.
David Leddick is a well-known author and performer in South Florida, and has been seen at Rising Action Theatre in Eleven O'Clock Number, Some Men and his own production of Escorts, the Docu-Musical. He is ably supported by Rising Action favorites Merry Jo Cortada and Stefan Pinto.
Rising Action Theatre, Inc. is dedicated to promoting and educating the public in diversity and tolerance for all people through theatre arts. It will present plays with multi-cultural themes and works of social relevance. More information can be found at its website: http://www.risingactiontheatre.com.
