Stuart's Lyric Theatre has added several new shows to its 2010 season. Tickets will be on sale to members beginning March 1st and to the general public on March 15th.

Colin Hay
April 14th, 2010 - 7pm - $35

It has been over 25 years since Colin Hay and his band Men at Work topped the charts with hits like "Down Under," "Who Can It Be Now?" and "Overkill." Yet thanks to the frequent use of the songs on soundtracks (including the television show "Scrubs" and the film "Garden State"), they - and Colin Hay himself - are being rediscovered by new generations of fans. Since his time as lead vocalist and principal songwriter for Men at Work, Hay has enjoyed a successful solo career that spotlights his enduring and evolving talent. His shows intersperse classic and new songs with hilarious, poignant and downright surreal stories drawn from his spectacular three-decade long career.

Chances are you've seen Kathleen Madigan on one of her many television specials or guest appearances, such as "Last Comic Standing," "The Tonight Show," "The Conan O'Brien Show" and "Late Night with David Letterman." If you haven't, it's time you made her acquaintance. Madigan's razor sharp stand-up has earned her international fame and accolades from the likes of Lewis Black ("The funniest woman in America") and Jay Leno (One of America's funniest female comics"). She even defeated the ever-popular Larry the Cable Guy to win the 2007 Sirius Radio Comedy Cup. Madigan provides her comedic point of view as a special correspondent for "The Dr. Phil Show," and appeared as one of Cheri Oteri's clients in the AMC program, "Life Coach." Billboard magazine says, "Madigan's greatest strengths are her balancing of the cynical and approachable and her equal-opportunity antagonism."
