Learn How to Use Digital Technology in Arts Marketing in ArtServe Workshop

The Cultural Division and ArtServe present Digital Marketing Demystified, a workshop for artists and cultural organizations, this week on Wednesday, March 15th at ArtServe in Fort Lauderdale. RSVP: Half day ($15) or full day ($25). Register online.

Open to the public, workshop topics include:

· How to identify and implement compelling digital strategy

· How leading arts organizations are using technology and their results

· An overview of digital metrics

The workshop, facilitated by national speakers Nik Honeysettand Sarah Lutman, will provide best practices for using social media. The hands-on sessions will explore creative ways that cultural institutions are embracing digital technology to expand reach, deepen community engagement, and advance art forms.

Nik Honeysett is CEO of the Balboa Park Online Collaborative (BPOC), a technology non-profit consultancy that provides support, development and strategy for museums. Honeysett will speak about the NMC Horizon Report > 2016 Museum Edition, jointly released by the New Media Consortium and BPOC, a valuable guide of technology planning for museums and staff.

Sarah Lutman works with nonprofit clients and independent producers in cultural, media and philanthropic sectors through her firm, Lutman & Associates, known for creative, future-facing projects that help organizations explore new initiatives.

Co-author of Like, Link, Share: How Cultural Institutions are Embracing Digital Technology, Lutman will speak about lessons learned from cultural institutions that are successfully embracing digital media. The report highlights the five most important lessons for this innovation.
