Laffing Matterz Brings Topical Satire to Ft. Lauderdale, 2/11-6/27
Voted "Best Dinner Theatre" by the Broward/Palm Beach New Times, Laffing Matterz, a live, original, musical comedy revue spoofing current events, returns to Fort Lauderdale at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Laffing Matterz at the Broward Center combines the best of dinner theater with the hilarity of topical satire in a one of a kind evening.
Laffing Matterz is a live, original, musical comedy revue spoofing current events - including politics, sports, celebrities and pop culture. The multi-award-winning show was previously housed in the venue of the same name in the historic McCrory building in downtown Ft. Lauderdale for over 3 1/2 years. Having received a 5 star rating by Trip Advisor, Laffing Matterz has proven to be a favorite destination for locals and travelers alike. Performances occur every Thursday -- Saturday evening at 7:30 and Sundays at 4:30.
The Laffing Matterz experience was and will continue to be unique in its next incarnation in that it preceeds the theatrical comedy with a dinner experience that far exceeds our audiences expectations.
Laffing Matterz comedy troupe takes on timely topics such as bad cell phone reception, the swine flu, Obama's Health Plan, Sarah Palin and everything in between. Order up a plate of guffaws with a dessert of side-splitting laughs for an evening of unique entertainment perfect for date night, family and corporate gatherings or a good time with friends.
