Frank Sinatra Jr. Comes To The Van Wezel 3/6
On Sunday, March 6 at 7 p.m. Frank Sinatra Jr. will be at the Van Wezel singing his father's classics.
The songs of Sinatra need to be sung and Frank Jr. has inherited that honor. Frank Sinatra, Jr., in song and style, pays homage to his father--the singer and music that defines the Sinatra legend. Sinatra Sings Sinatra features songs that Ol' Blue Eyes sang in over 50 years of performing, many of which Sinatra Jr. witnessed first hand. A portion of the show includes a photo gallery depicting Frank Sinatra's 'look' throughout each decade while Frank Jr. sings the songs that best represent those times. The show includes Sinatra classics like, "I've Got You Under My Skin," "One For My Baby," "New York, New York," "Luck Be A Lady," and "Strangers In The Night."
"With this concert and our wonderful 36-piece orchestra, we feel like we're visiting old friends again," says Sinatra Jr., "The people come to hear the music, so I always make sure the music is the real star of the show. I want the spotlight to shine on the individual musicians as well as the singer."
Ticket prices range from $10 to $55. For more information and to buy tickets, contact the Van Wezel Box office at (941) 953-3368 or log onto www.vanwezel.org. This show is sponsored by Wilde Lexus of Sarasota.
