In New York Any One of Us wasperformed before a sold-out audience last summer at Lincoln Center. The Miami production will be staged and directed by FIU dance professor and ArtSpring founder and artistic director Leslie Neal using a script that is comprised entirely of writings by women serving time behind bars, featuring narratives by women in Miami-Dade and Broward prisons. Acclaimed songwriter and Carbonell Award nominee Amy Carol Webb will perform her original score, written especially for this occasion.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit ArtSpring and Women's Fund of Miami-Dade programs that prevent at-risk girls from entering the juvenile justice systemand will fund the publication of an anthology of writings produced by women inmates during the Bridging the Gap workshops, a program supported by ArtSpring, Vicki Lopez Lukis, the Girls Advocacy Project and the Florida Departments of Corrections and Juvenile Justice. The anthology will be distributed to adolescent girls in detention and to at-risk girls as a tool for education and intervention.
