Coral Springs Center for the Arts to Present #UNHAPPY HOUR, 1/8-24

The Coral Springs Center for the Arts is kicking off 2016 with #Unhappy Hour, an original comedy by five local writers: Gabriel Hammad, Mark Della Ventura (a Carbonell Award winner), David Sirois (a Carbonell Award nominee), Gladys Ramirez and Meera Paul.

#UnhappyHour is being presented in the Center's 80-seat Black Box Studio, located on the third floor directly above the Coral Springs Museum of Art. The Studio's cabaret-style performance space and intimate atmosphere will allow the audience to be completely immersed in this amusing and insightful production.

January 8-24, 2016 + Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 pm + Sundays at 2:00 pm #UnhappyHour (Black Box Studio Series) Four local writers combine original plays about love, life, and loneliness in South Florida into one magic night of moving comedy. While working their usual shifts at a rundown dive bar, co-workers Charlie and Claire try their best to balance their complicated relationship, unfulfilled desires, and the nightly happy hour rush full of Florida's craziest folks. Tickets start at $39.22
