By:

More stars have been announced as teachers at Broadway Theatre Project in Tampa, during the second week of the program.  Christopher d'Amboise, Lisa Jolley, Jed Bernstein, Terrence Mann, Joan Lander and Rob Fisher previously appeared.

Ashley Brown appears July 16th. Brown currently stars in Mary Poppins after having made her Broadway debut as Belle in Beauty and the Beast.  Previously, she toured with Disney's On the Record.  She performed in "The Leading Men of Broadway" and participated in "Broadway By the Year: 1956" and the MUNY.  She trained at Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (BFA, Laurie Beechman Award).

Pierre Dulaine and Yvonne Marceau appear July 16th, as well. "Showdance champions and Broadway dance couple founded American Ballroom Theater (ABrT) in 1984 and established the company's educational arm, Dancing Classrooms featured in the documentary Mad Hot Ballroom, in 1994.  Internationally renowned performers and teachers, Dulaine and Marceau are four-time winners of the British Exhibition Championships, earned the 1993 Dance Magazine Award, and received the1989-1990 Astaire Award for Best Dancing on Broadway, in the roles they created and choreographed as the mellifluous couple in Tommy Tune's Grand Hotel.  They have been faculty members at both the School of American Ballet and The Juilliard School, as well as guest teachers at Alvin Alley.  In 2005 they received Americans for the Arts Award for education.  Most recently their influence has extended into films with the major motion picture, Take The Lead, inspired by Pierre's teaching experience in schools," state press notes.

Founded in 1991, Broadway Theatre Project (BTP) is the world's most prestigious musical theatre arts education program for high school and college students. Under the Artistic Direction of Debra McWaters, the non-profit BTP is an intensive three-week training program focused on the key disciplines of musical theatre including acting, dancing, and singing, as well as the critical life skills necessary to work in the professional world of entertainment.
