Bay Street Players announces its 37th season, which will run September 16, 2011-July 29, 2012. Performances take place at the Bay Street Players Historic State Theatre at 109 N. Bay Street in Eustis. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Each production also has one Wednesday 8pm and one Saturday 2pm performance.
The plays for the 2011-2012 Main Stage Season are as follows:

Dracula
A Mystery
By Hamilton Deane and John L. Balderston
From Bram Stoker's novel
September 16 - October 9, 2011

This timeless play, based on the classic novel, is one of the great mystery thrillers of all time. The winner of a Tony Award for Best Revival, Dracula promises an evening of pure escape and nostalgic entertainment.

Nov. 18 - Dec. 11, 2011
She's Back! You met Sister Amnesia in our 2008 production of Nuncrackers. Now she has regained her memory and realizes she is Sister Mary Paul, a former country singer and takes her new show on the road. This Jamboree is filled with hysterical one-liners and a heapin' helping of music.

This hilarious Broadway musical hit of 2005 was the winner of two Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards. Six young people in the throes of puberty, overseen by grown-ups who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, learn that winning isn't everything and that losing doesn't necessarily make you a loser.
