Bathhouse: the musical!' Extends Run!

By: Jul. 17, 2006

"Bathhouse: the musical!" extends summer run at the Footlight theatre

After a sold-out run at the Orlando International Fringe Festival, rave reviews and packed houses at the Parliament House Footlight Theater June 8th-July 15th, Bathhouse: The Musical! is pleased to announce that they will be extending their summer run. Two additional performances will be added on July 22nd and July 29th, both at 8:00pm.

Air-O-Dynamic Design and Production's Bathhouse: The Musical! is a 60-minute, one-act, musical comedy written by Orlando residents Esther Daack and Tim Evanicki. Four brand-new songs have been added for the summer run at the Parliament House. The show follows the story of Billy, a wide-eyed youth venturing into a bathhouse for the very first time. He's looking for love, but soon realizes that the other patrons are looking for something …a little more temporary. With some guidance, Billy soon learns the ins and outs of bathhouse etiquette. Taking cues from crowd-pleasers like Forever Plaid and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Bathhouse: The Musical! promises loads of laughs, original songs, four guys in towels, and even a bit of heart.

This show is intended for mature audiences only as it contains adult themes, colorful language, and scantily-clad men. Shows start at 8:00pm, with the box office opening at 7:00pm. Tickets are $10 and include club cover charges for the evening. Discounted tickets are available for hotel guests. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling (407) 540-0317 or sending an e-mail to tickets@bathhousethemusical.com. Tickets can also be purchased in advance through our partnership with the Wanzie and Doug.com Online Box Office at wanzie.com. The Parliament House is located at 410 N. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando.
