The Bay Street Players' Young People's Theatre will present two performances of Honk! Jr. A cast of extremely talented young people, ages 7 to 18, will amaze you as they sing and perform dance numbers with the skill of veteran performers. Honk! Jr. is the musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale "The Ugly Duckling." Musical numbers feature messages of acceptance and discovering inner beauty. Honk! Jr. is a great reminder of all the things we hope kids learn--accept others for who they are, not what they look like, remember that being different is okay, and remember that out there somewhere, someone's gonna love you -- warts and all!

Directed by Amanda Warren, Honk! Jr. will be presented Thursday, August 11 and Saturday, August 13 at 7 PM. All performances will be held at the historic State Theatre located at 109 N. Bay Street in downtown Eustis. Tickets are $10 for adults / $5 for students with ID and can be ordered on line at www.baystreeetplayers.org or by calling the Box Office at 352-357-7777.

Bay Street Players is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit community theatre celebrating 36 seasons of live theatre in the historic 1922 State Theatre in downtown Eustis.
