Twelve (12) black actors and twelve (12) white actors are needed to make up a large integrated cast of men and women of all ages, 18 and up. Stage and production assistants are also welcome.
Written by local playwright Richard J. Budin and directed by Scottie Michael, this powerful play focuses on the affair between Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings, his black slave, as seen through the eyes of two descendants of the 20th century.
Rehearsals will be held Tuesday & Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons beginning Jan. 31st.
