Actors' Playhouse Presents Fall Theatre Conservatory Classes
CORAL GABLES For those with dreams of someday performing on Broadway, or for anyone who simply desires to explore their creative side and develop skills in communication, acting, musical theatre, and confidence building, Actors' Playhouse's Theatre Conservatory at the Miracle Theatre can help make those dreams a reality. Actors' Playhouse's Theatre Conservatory is currently accepting enrollment for its eight week Fall Session. Classes begin September 11 and will run through November 4. Classes are held during the week in the late afternoons and Saturdays.
The Conservatory offers a variety of theatrical training programs open to individuals of all ages, experience and talent levels. The Fall Session will include the following series of classes: Just Act (ages 8 16); Lights, Camera, Action I (ages 8 16); Adult Acting (17 and up); Let's Make Believe I (ages 5 8); Song and Dance (ages 5 8); and Musical Theatre I (ages 7 12). Private voice instruction and audition coaching are also available. Class fees range from $225 to $300.
Actors' Playhouse's Theatre Conservatory offers children, teenagers and adults the opportunity to discover the many aspects of the performing arts and entertainment industries. At Actors' Playhouse students can hone their skills with classes in acting for theatre and camera and in musical theatre. The Conservatory classes are designed to develop an individual's talents and skills as well as enhance their self-esteem, self-confidence and ability to communicate.
Actors' Playhouse Conservatory students have appeared in Broadway musicals, films, television shows, commercials, and regional theatre productions. The Conservatory program is also the seed of Actors' Playhouses' performing youth troop, The Musical Miracles.
