Taller Creativo de Ópera is a collaborative workshop hosted by Ópera Portátil at Teatro El Galeón, where participants engage in various aspects of opera creation. Starting March 25 and concluding April 3, the workshop covers writing, staging, and musical composition, with contributions from soprano Catalina Pereda, composer José Miguel Delgado, and others in the field. The culmination will feature a public presentation of mini operas developed during the workshop, showcasing innovative ideas and teamwork among directors, composers, and performers. The event follows a successful residency that included the staging of multiple operas for both children and adults.
