The Centro de Investigación Coreográfica is celebrating its 40th anniversary with the launch of the Licenciatura en Creación-Investigación Dancística for the 2024-2025 school year. This new degree program aims to educate professionals in contemporary dance by integrating somatic knowledge and diverse choreographic creation perspectives, moving away from traditional competitive models. The curriculum emphasizes individual creative exploration and the relationship between body perception and innovative forms of stage expression, preparing students to meet the demands of today's artistic and professional landscape. Founded in 1976, the Cico continues its mission to promote the arts and support the development of critical and reflective dance professionals.
