Alfeñique will explore the traditional craft of sugar skulls and their role in Mexican culture, presented by Carmen Gómez, one of the few artisans in San Miguel de Allende who continues this practice. This event is part of a series celebrating September’s patriotic festivities at the Centro Cultural Ignacio Ramírez El Nigromante, which highlights ancestral recipes and local culinary traditions. The discussions aim to strengthen community ties while celebrating the rich gastronomic heritage of Mexico.
