VIDEO: Get a Behind the Scenes Look at Playhouse on the Square's TUCK EVERLASTING

By:

Playhouse on the Square, in partnership with FedEx, tamburrino, inc., and super sponsor Dr. Thomas Ratliff is proud to open 2019 with the musical adaptation of The National Education Association 2017 Teachers'Top 100 Books for Children award recipient.

Eleven year-old Winnie Foster yearns for a life of adventure beyond her white picket fence, but not until she becomes unexpectedly entwined with the Tuck Family does she get more than she could have imagined. As her adventure unfolds, Winnie faces an extraordinary choice: return to her life, or continue with the Tucks on their infinite journey. Interwoven with intricate dance numbers, soaring ballads, and amazing spectacle Tuck Everlasting will be a production for the entire family to enjoy.

Gia Welch (Heathers: The Musical) takes on the role of Winnie Foster. Associate Company Member Ryan Duda (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) is love interest Jesse Tuck. Memphis icon Ann Marie Hall (For Peter Pan on Her 70th Birthday, Shakespeare in Love) will play the role of Nana. Resident Company Member Michael Gravois (A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) returns to the Playhouse on the Square stage as father, Angus Tuck. Tuck Everlasting is directed and choreographed by Ostrander Award winners Dave Landis (Little Women: The Broadway Musical, Fun Home) and Daniel Stuart Nelson (Priscilla: Queen of the Desert).

Performances will run Thursday - Saturday 8:00 pm curtain and with 2:00 pm curtain on Sunday. Matinee performances for school groups are also available select days during the week.
