Thanksgiving Day Preview Of A Christmas Story Benefits Mid-South Food Bank

By:

The Thanksgiving Day preview performance of 'A Christmas Story' will benefit the Mid-South Food Bank. Patrons who bring 4 or more canned goods can get into the performance for free. The special performance is Thursday, November 25th at 7pm at The Circuit Playhouse.

Based on the classic holiday movie, 'A Christmas Story' is a collection of Ralph Parker's childhood holiday memories. Tales of a deceptively dangerous playground dare, an unforgettable encounter with a department store Santa, and young Ralphie's obsession with a Red Ryder BB rifle are among the memories shared with warmth and a sleigh-load of laughs.

'A Christmas Story' runs November 26-December 23 at The Circuit Playhouse, located at 51 South Cooper Street in Midtown. Show times are as follows: Fridays at 7pm (no performance on Dec. 3rd), Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm. There is a special performance schedule for the week of December 20th. Tuesday, December 21 through Thursday, December 23, performances begin at 7pm. Ticket prices vary.
