GCT will open their 2014-2015 season with Stephen Sondheim's COMPANY. Most recently revived at the New York Philharmonic in 2011, COMPANY follows bachelor Bobby as he celebrates his 35th birthday with all of his couple friends. Patrons are sure to enjoy the richly complex composition by Stephen Sondheim as Bobby explores the ins and outs of "Being Alive".

GCT's version of COMPANY, directed by Teddy Eck (Director- BOEING BOEING), adds a very modern spin on this 70's classic with the addition of technology elements that will surprise and delight theatre-goers. Among others, the cast includes MidSouth community veterans Lee Gilliland as Bobby, Sally Stover (GCT's RUTHLESS), Jaclyn Suffel (GCT's BOEING BOEING) and Stuart Turner (GCT's BOEING BOEING).

COMPANY will mark the final show performed on the GCT stage as it is currently constructed. After closing, the stage will be removed and our productions will be performed in a "from the ground, up" theatrical space. Fans of GCT can reserve pieces of the deconstructed stage repurposed as home décor with all proceeds benefiting GCT.
