The Orpheum Theatre's Summer Movie Series will show its appreciation for members of the local police force and fire department with up to two (2) free tickets per officer to see Jaws tonight, August 8th at 7:00 PM at the Orpheum Theatre.

Badge or equivalent identification is required in order to redeem the offer, and tickets must be picked up in person at the Orpheum Box Office located at 203 South Main Street. Tickets may be claimed in advance or at the door.

Director Steven Spielberg creates one of the most feared and enduring villains of all time in Jaws. The small island community of Amity counts on its beautiful coastline for revenue, so when the sheriff recommends closing its beaches after finding the remains of a shark victim, officials offer a reward for the capture of the shark instead. The slew of fishermen who respond in hopes of cashing in prove to be no match for the gigantic great white shark that is menacing the town. This feature is rated PG.

Doors open at 6:00 PM. Come early for the Orpheum's special "shark attack" cocktail and pre-movie activities in the lobby.

The Orpheum Theatre's 2014 Summer Movie Series is presented for a third year by Orion Federal Credit Union. The series runs through September 5th and includes a selection of films requested by Orpheum movie fans through the Orpheum Theatre's website and social media channels.
